Men's waxing and threading run in a completely separate space from the ladies' studio — same building, own room, own pace. Eyebrow threading and a beard line are the two most-booked services and take fifteen minutes between them; chest, back and stomach waxing are priced by area on the list above.
First time in for a wax? Leave a week or two since your last shave or trim so there's enough hair for the wax to grip properly — coming in freshly shaved means we can't do it justice.
What We Do, And What It Costs
Eyebrow threading at £8 and a beard line at £10 are the two quick services most men book, and both take under fifteen minutes. Threading is the right tool for both because it removes a precise row of hairs at a time, which is what gives a clean line rather than an obviously shaped one.
For body work we wax: chest at £18, stomach at £15 and back at £22. Waxing covers a large area in a single pass, which is why it is the sensible method there and why the whole appointment is much shorter than most men expect.
How Long To Leave The Hair
Wax and thread both need something to grip, so leave two to three weeks since your last shave or trim before booking. Turning up freshly shaved is the single most common reason an appointment cannot go ahead, and it is a wasted trip that is easily avoided.
If you are not sure whether it is long enough, send a photograph when you book and we will tell you honestly rather than have you come in for nothing.
Afterwards, And How Often
Expect the area to stay pink for a few hours. Avoid the gym, sauna, swimming and hot showers for 24 hours, and keep aftershave and perfumed products off the area for the same period — heat and fragrance on open follicles is what turns a normal result into irritation.
Start exfoliating gently after 48 hours, two or three times a week. On chest and back waxing this is the difference between clean regrowth and ingrown hairs, and it takes about thirty seconds in the shower. Most clients rebook brows and beard lines every three to four weeks and body waxing every four to six.
A Separate Studio, By Appointment
The gentlemen's side runs with its own therapists and its own schedule at our Landcross Drive address in Northampton, with free parking directly outside. It is a genuinely separate service rather than a men's column added to a women's price list.
Everything is done in a private treatment room with the door closed, which is the main thing first-time clients ask about. A brow or beard line takes under fifteen minutes; a chest or back wax is around twenty to thirty. You will be in and out faster than you expect.
If it is your first appointment, say so when you book. Your therapist will talk you through what is about to happen rather than assume you already know, and will check the shape with you before finishing rather than presenting you with a result at the end. There is nothing awkward about any of it, and it is a far more routine appointment than most men assume.
