The gap between our classic and deluxe treatments is a scrub and a paraffin wax soak — genuinely useful for dry or cracked skin through the colder months, not an upsell dressed up as a treatment. If you just need a quick tidy between full appointments, the express nail care option covers cut, file and cuticle care in less time.
Gel removal is free whenever the gel was applied in our salon, so there's no penalty for coming back to us rather than removing it yourself.
Classic, Deluxe Or Express
A classic manicure at £25 is the full service — shape, cuticle work, a hand massage and polish. The deluxe at £30 adds a scrub and a paraffin wax soak, which genuinely helps dry or cracked skin and is noticeably more worthwhile through the winter. Express nail care at £18 is shape and polish without the extras, for when you are short of time.
Pedicures follow the same structure at £28, £35 and £20. The deluxe pedicure is the one most worth the difference, because callus work and a proper soak are precisely what feet need and precisely what an express service has to skip.
Gel Or Regular Polish?
Regular polish is included in the price of each service and is right if you change colour often or only need it to last a few days. Gel adds £3 to £5 — a classic gel manicure is £28 and a deluxe gel pedicure £40 — and holds for two to three weeks without chipping.
If you are already wearing gel, removal is £8 for hands and £10 for feet, and it is free when the set was done here. Please do not peel it off at home: peeling takes layers of the natural nail plate with it and the thinning is cumulative over a year.
Making A Set Last
Cuticle oil daily is the single most useful habit. Oil keeps the nail plate flexible, and a flexible nail bends where a dry one chips. Gloves for washing up are second — prolonged hot water is the most common reason a gel set starts lifting at the edges a week earlier than it should.
Two to three weeks is the honest window for gel. By week four the regrowth at the cuticle is visible enough that the set stops looking deliberate, and the leverage on the free edge makes lifting far more likely. A reshape and gel polish at £20 is the cheaper way back if the underlying set is still sound.
How Long, And What To Bring
A classic manicure takes about 30 minutes and a deluxe 45. Pedicures run to 45 minutes and an hour respectively, and booking a manicure and pedicure together is the most efficient way to do both — allow around an hour and a half.
Wear or bring open-toed shoes for a pedicure if you can, particularly with regular polish, which needs longer to set fully than gel does. Gel cures under the lamp before you leave, so there is nothing to smudge and no waiting around afterwards.
If you are having gel removed and reapplied, book the removal as part of the appointment rather than assuming there is time within it. Removal is free when the set was applied here, but it still takes fifteen minutes and we would rather allow for it than rush the new set.
