Laser hair removal is a course, not a one-off, which is why every area on our price list carries a pre-paid 6+ rate alongside the single-session price — most clients see meaningful reduction by session four and finish the course for a genuinely lasting result.
A patch test and consultation are required before your first session on any area, purely so we can confirm the right settings for your skin and hair type safely. It takes a few minutes and can usually be done the same day as your first treatment.
How Many Sessions You Will Actually Need
Laser only affects hair that is in its active growth phase, and at any given moment only a portion of the hair in an area is in that phase. That is why a single session never clears everything and why anyone promising permanent results in one appointment is misleading you.
Most clients need six to eight sessions spaced four to six weeks apart for the face, and six to eight weeks apart on the body. After that, occasional maintenance keeps it there. Coarse dark hair on lighter skin responds fastest; fine, fair, red or grey hair responds least, because the laser targets pigment.
Before Each Session
Shave the area the day before — do not wax, pluck or thread it. The laser needs the hair root present in the follicle to work, so removing the root defeats the treatment entirely, but hair above the skin scatters the energy and causes unnecessary discomfort. Shaving leaves exactly what is needed.
Avoid sun exposure and fake tan for two weeks beforehand. Tanned skin holds more pigment, which changes how the laser reads the area and raises the risk of a burn. We will reschedule rather than treat tanned skin, so it is worth planning around holidays.
Pricing By Area
Small areas start at £20 for micro areas and £25 to £28 for the side of face or neck. Larger single areas run from £35 for underarms and £40 for a bikini line up to £105 for full legs. A full area package covering everything is £105.
Because a course is what actually produces the result, ask about the total when you book rather than the single-session price. It is a more honest way to compare us against anywhere else, and it lets you plan properly.
Is Laser Right For Your Hair And Skin?
The laser works by targeting pigment in the hair, which is why results vary so much between people. Dark, coarse hair on lighter skin responds fastest and most completely. Fine, fair, red or grey hair contains very little pigment for the laser to find, and we will tell you honestly at the patch test if we think a course is unlikely to give you what you are paying for.
That conversation happens before you commit to anything. We would rather lose a booking than take payment for six sessions that were never going to work well on your hair type, and we can usually suggest waxing or threading as a more realistic alternative.
For everyone else, plan the course around your calendar. Sessions are four to six weeks apart on the face and six to eight on the body, and you need to stay out of the sun and off fake tan for two weeks before each one. Starting in autumn rather than early summer makes the whole course considerably easier to keep to.
